Patrick Industries is proud to feature gypsum panels manufactured by the United States Gypsum Corporation (USG). Their products are listed under the following trademark names: Sheetrock™, Tuf-Set™, Tuf-Tape™, Tuf-Base™, Tuf-Tex™, and Tuf-Spray™.
Gypsum panels carried by Patrick include:
Tapered Edge 3/8", ½", 5/8": Used in tape and texture application.
Tuf-Base: Tuf-Base panels are specially designed to meet the manufactured housing industries need for time-sensitivity and structural integrity. These superior-grade panels are 3/8", ½", or 5/8" thick and made with an extra-tough core to provide superior structural performance during construction and in transit.
Panels are 4' wide and finished with smooth manila face paper wrapped around tapered edges. They may be fastened with two-component polyurethane foam adhesive or with mechanical fasteners (screws, staples, or nails) - alone or in conjunction with adhesive - for superior performance in standard and shear-rated applications.
Fire Resistance: Gypsum core is noncombustible.
Shear Resistance: System tested to ensure compliance with HUD Manufactured Home Construction Standard. Classified as to shear resistance and surface burning characteristics by Underwriters Laboratories Inc.
Dimensional Stability: Resists bucking and warping. Made with consistent dimensions.
Type X Firecode Core: Sheetrock brand Gypsum Panel is the original, the preferred, and the most widely used gypsum panel in existence. It is available in more specialized forms for various systems than any other drywall line. Its high quality standards extend to a complete line of U.S. Gypsum components supplied for fast-applying, high-performance walls and ceilings. Thus, one dependable source offers unit responsibility for the system used.
Sheetrock brand Gypsum Panels are factory-fabricated, composed of fire-resistant gypsum core encased in heavy natural-finish face paper on the face side and strong liner paper on the back side. The face paper is folded around the long edges to reinforce and protect the core, and the ends are square-cut and finished smooth. Long edges of panels are tapered, allowing joints to be reinforced and concealed with a U.S. Gypsum joint treatment system. Sheetrock brand Gypsum Panels are available with three different core types for standard construction uses.

Water - Resistant: (Green Board) : Sheetrock brand Gypsum Panels, Water-Resistant, provide a water-resistant base for adhesive application of ceramic and plastic tile and plastic-faced wall panels. They are specially designed to minimize moisture problems in areas such as bathrooms, powder rooms, kitchens, and utility rooms. Panels are manufactured using a distinctive green multilayered face paper chemically treated to resist moisture, a water-resistant gypsum core, and a multilayered back paper treated to resist moisture.
Sheetrock brand Gypsum Panels, Water-Resistant, have shallow tapered edges and are available in three types: 1) Sheetrock brand Regular Gypsum Panels, Water-Resistant - The 5/8" thick panel is recommended for single-layer construction, the ½" thickness for single-layer application in residential construction. 2) Sheetrock brand Gypsum Panels, Firecode Core, Water-Resistant - These 5/8" thick panels have a Type X Core to provide fire resistance for ratings of UL Design Numbers U301, U302, U305, U321, U411, U504, U506, U506, U512, U513, U515, U603, U604, U606, U607, U609, U615, U617, U622, U625, U633, X508, and X516. 3) Sheetrock brand Gypsum Panels, Firecode C Code, Water-Resistant - These ½" thick panels have a special core to provide fore resistant for UL Design Numbers U307, U317, U603, U612, and U613.

Ceiling Board, Ultra-Base: ½" thick but offers the same resistance to sag as standard 5/8" gypsum board. This board is particularly effective when a texture finish such as Sheetrock MH Ceiling Texture (Tuf-Spray) or Unaggregated Spray Texture (Tuf-Tex) are applied.
Predecorated Ceiling Boards (Lunar): Designed especially to meet the time sensitive needs of the manufactured housing industry. These panels are 5/16" and ½" thick and made with a factory applied texture surface.
Prefinished Vinyl Covered Panels: 5/16", ½" and 5/8" Beveled and Straight edges available. Panels are laminated with various vinyl and paper coverings.

Exterior Sheathing Board (Brown Board): A weather-resistant board designed for use on the soffit sides of eaves, canopies and carports and other commercial and residential exterior applications with indirect exposure to the weather. Noncombustible core is simply scored and snapped for quick application. Panels can be painted and provide good sag resistance. Installed conventionally in wood and metal-framed soffits; batten strips or mouldings can be used over butt joints or joints can be treated; backing strips required for small vent openings. Natural finish. Available in ½" thickness with regular core and in 5/8" thickness with fire-rated core - both with SW tapered edges. Board complies with ASTM C931.
